KENNEWICK, WA – April 28, 2015 – Bruker introduces the release of S1 TITAN software version 2.1. The version 2.1 update features an impressive speed increase for grade ID and Pass/Fail tests. Typical alloys are now positively identified within one second (*). In addition, full Unicode character support enables non-Latin character-based (e.g. Chinese and Russian) grade names, which are featured in specific local grade libraries. The Bruker S1 TITAN allows the use of multiple (including user-generated library) grade libraries at the same time. This no-cost update (**) also provides a number of additional enhancements in the Graphical User Interface (GUI) as well as a cumulative service pack to address known issues.
All Generation II S1 TITANS (Model 200, 300, 500, 600, 800) can be updated using the Bruker S1 TITAN TOOLBOX software’s ‘Bruker Installer’ function (for in-field updates) or at a Regional Center of Excellence as an addition to other service activities. The update files can be downloaded from the Bruker Support Website here. For more information please contact your local Bruker representative or contact Bruker Customer Care at +1 (509) 783-9850 / hhservice@bruker.com
(*) alloys for which the grade ID requires light elements or low concentrations will take longer
(**) free update only for S1 TITAN series II models manufactured after Jan 2014
